Frequently asked questions about the care and use of our cloth diapers
Q: How often should I wash my cloth diapers?
A: We recommend washing them every 2 or 3 days. All you have to do is throw away the stool and store the soiled diapers in a dry and ventilated place between washes.
Q: How should I wash my diapers?
A: 1. Start with a quick wash cycle in cold water, without laundry detergent, in order to remove most of the soil.
2. Perform a second long wash cycle in warm water, with the amount of laundry detergent recommended for a very dirty load, in order to remove all impurities.
Q: Can I tumble dry my cloth diapers?
A: Of course! We recommend tumble drying the cloth diapers at least once every few weeks to tighten the seams and avoid leaks. BE CAREFUL not to handle the diapers while they are still hot.
Q: Can I use bleach to clean the diapers?
A: No. The use of bleach, fabric softener or soap containing fabric softener is not recommended. If such products are used in caring for your diapers, we will not be held liable for damages and the product warranty will not be applicable.
* Do not use diaper rash cream containing any form of petroleum jelly or paraffin.
Q: I'm a new mom, how many cloth diapers do I need?
A: We recommend having 24 cloth diapers. This amount allows to wash diapers every 2-3 days without running out.
Q: Is there a particular way of putting the diaper on?
A: Make sure you adjust the fork and the waist so that the cloth diaper arrives right under the baby’s navel and that it fits well at the thighs, to avoid leaks.
Q: What is an insert? Why is it made of hemp?
A: The insert is the absorbent part of the diaper. We chose to use a hemp blend because it is the most eco-friendly fiber on the market and its absorbing quality is unbeatable. You will definitely avoid leaks using our hemp inserts!
Q: Can we use cloth diapers at night?
A: Absolutely! We make an insert specially designed for night use that can absorb up to 17oz of liquid. Say goodbye to leaks!
